The 2nd International Symposium on Flame-Retardant Materials & Technologies (ISFRMT 2012) will be held in Chengdu, China on September 17-20, 2012!

      China has been one of countries with the largeset consumption of flame-retardant products. The various demands for new flame-retardant materials and technologies have promoted more and more scientists and engineers to participate in the relevant research and development activities. A number of flame retardants and flame-retardant technologies from different countries have been used by Chinese companies.

      International Symposium on Flame-Retardant Materials & Technologies (ISFRMT) is held every two year by China Flame Retardant Society and Sichuan University at different cities of China , and provides an excellent forum for the introduction of new ideas, materials and technologies in flame retardancy for participants and a communication bridge between academia and industry. That is, ISFRMT will provide a unique opportunity to exchange information and to discuss the future perspectives of the cutting-edge academic research and the latest advances in industrial technologies in flame-retardant fields. ISFRMT2010 was successfully held at Chengdu , Sichuan , China in 2010 by China Flame Retardant Society and Sichuan University , and around 300 participants from different countries attended this meeting.       On the request of part of the participants, ISFRMT 2012 will still be held at Chengdu , which is one of most beautiful cities in China and a tourist destination renowned for its many historical landmarks. During the conference, a small-scale exhibition is available. However, the space is limited, and will sell quickly as added bonus to exhibitors and participants alike.
