      The 4th International Symposium on Flame-Retardant Materials & Technologies (ISFRMT2016) will be held in Changchun, China on June 15-17, 2016!

      China has been one of countries with the largest consumption of flame-retardant products. The various demands for new flame-retardant materials and technologies have promoted more and more scientists and engineers to participate in the relevant research and development activities. A number of flame retardants and flame-retardant technologies from different countries have been used by Chinese companies..

      The 1st and 2nd ISFRMT were held in Chengdu (China) in 2010 and 2012, the 3rd ISFRMT was held in Hefei (China) in 2014. ISFRMT provided an excellent forum for the introduction of new ideas, materials and technologies in flame retardancy for participants and a communication bridge between academia and industry. Now the 4th ISFRMT will be hosted by State Key Laboratory of Polymer Physics and Chemistry at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The primary mission of the Laboratory is to advance fundamental polymer science and develop critical technologies to meet the needs of the nation. The main interest of the Laboratory is the fundamental research of polymer science and applied polymer technologies, which inherited from the early research work in polymer science in middle 20th century in China and reflects a drastic development of our understanding in the research around the world.
